WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
WITHINTHEATRE is a creative an acting school for children and teenagers, where young performers develop confidence, creativity, and expressive skills through acting, movement, and voice.

ACTING
Expression, Imagination, Confidence
Students will explore professional acting tools through devising techniques and improvisation, learning how to create scenes from ideas, text, and imagination.
Through guided practice, they will:
• Build confidence and self-esteem
• Learn to trust their creative instincts
• Develop emotional awareness and truthful stage presence
• Work collaboratively as part of an ensemble
Acting classes encourage freedom, curiosity, and bold self-expression — skills that extend far beyond the stage.

MOVEMENT
Physical awareness, Storytelling
Movement classes focus on the body as a powerful storytelling instrument.
Students will work with:
• Dance and free movement
• Partner and group movement exercises
• Stage movement and spatial awareness
These sessions help young performers gain confidence in their bodies, improve coordination, and understand how physicality supports character, emotion, and narrative.

VOICE
Clarity, Confidence, Presence
Voice training develops a strong, confident, and expressive voice for both stage and everyday life. Students will learn:
• Clear and confident speech
• Vocal projection and articulation
• Singing basics and public speaking skills
Voice classes empower students to speak up, be heard, and communicate with clarity, confidence, and ease.

SOFIA BARYSEVICH
Artistic Director | Founder of withintheatre
Sofia Barysevich is an applied theatre practitioner with over 8 years of experience working with children and young people. She leads withintheatre’s creative vision, developing a unique performance method that blends acting, movement, and voice.
Before founding withintheatre, Sofia collaborated with leading British physical theatre companies, including Frantic Assembly, Babel, and Facciocose. Her work focuses on ensemble creation, physical storytelling, and empowering young performers to find confidence, authenticity, and creative freedom on stage.

ANNA KORZIK
Choreographer | Movement Coach
Anna Korzik is a choreographer and movement coach who creates powerful, expressive movement sequences for performers. Her work focuses on helping actors embody emotion and narrative through physical expression.
Through dance, free movement, and partner work, Anna encourages students to explore the body as a storytelling tool, developing physical confidence, coordination, and presence on stage.

ANASTASIA AUSH
Actress | Voice Coach
Anastasia Aush is a professional actress and voice specialist, with a strong background in theatre and voice acting. Her teaching helps students develop confident, expressive voices, supporting clear speech, emotional range, and stage presence.
Anastasia brings depth, sensitivity, and intensity to her work, guiding young performers to connect their voice with intention, imagination, and storytelling.

FINAL PERFORMANCE
A THEATRE SHOW FOR ALL TO ATTEND
The programme culminates in a fully staged public performance in June, open to family, friends, and the wider community.
Students will develop a play from scratch, using their writing skills, and applying everything they have learned — acting, movement, and voice — in a real theatre setting.
This final show celebrates each student’s growth, creativity, and courage, giving them the unforgettable experience of performing live on stage.

Places are limited. Early booking is strongly recommended.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?
• Two classes per week (Tuesday & Thursday)
• 5.30-7.30pm
• Professional training in Acting, Movement & Voice
• Small group size for individual attention
• Rehearsals leading to a final public theatre performance in June
All sessions held at Hampstead High St Studio
The program runs from March to June, following UK school term dates (no classes during school holidays).
